Earlier this week, the Deputy Mayor of Penwortham, Cllr Robert Taylor, met with fellow judges to decide the winners of the Penwortham in Bloom 2026 Photography Competition.![]()

The other members of the panel were the Chair of Penwortham In Bloom, Cllr Geoff Crewe, and Mr Peter Frankish. Peter leads "In The Frame", an organisation which raises funds for St Catherine's Hospice, Lancashire through the sale of arts and crafts.![]()

There was a fantastic display of talent on show for the judges at Penwortham Community Centre. We look forward to learning the results at the PIB Celebration Night, on 15th October at St Teresa's parish centre.

The Mayor of Penwortham, Cllr Tracey Flannery, was delighted to visit Priory Academy yesterday, where she met the school’s gardener, Chris Farron, members of staff and representatives from Penwortham in Bloom 2026.![]()

They enjoyed looking around the school’s beautiful gardens, which were named Best Overall Community Garden in this year’s annual Penwortham in Bloom competition. The award is a wonderful recognition of Chris’s hard work and dedication—congratulations to Chris and everyone at Priory Academy! 🏆🌺![]()
