FREE MENTAL HEALTH TRAINING & LOCAL SUPPORT SERVICES We are pleased to share a fantastic community opportunity funded by Lancashire County Council and delivered by the team at PAC (Positive Action in the Community). Accredited Mental Health First Aid and Suicide Prevention courses are fully funded and completely free for anyone who lives or works within the Lancashire border (excluding Blackpool and Blackburn with Darwen) until December 2026.Whether you are looking to better support your family, friends, colleagues, or neighbors, these courses offer invaluable, practical tools.πŸ“š What Free Courses are Available? Youth Mental Health First Aid (Online & Face-to-Face)Adult Mental Health First Aid (Full 2-day or Half-Day Aware options)safeTALK: Suicide alertness training (Online)Orange Button Scheme: Course graduates can receive an Orange Button. This lets our local community know you are a trained, confidential listener who can safely signpost people to further help.πŸ‘₯ Anyone aged 16 years and over are eligible to apply. Placements are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.The organisation running this training, PAC, also operates the SafeSpace initiative.
