Councillor
Read accepted the role of Penwortham Town Mayor on the 24th
May 2011 and said that he was both delighted and honoured to
be asked to carry out the Mayoral duties for the forthcoming
year.
Councillor
Read indicated that his chosen charities this year would be,
Arthritis Research UK, John Rylands University Library and The
Friends of Hurst Grange Park
