The Mayor of Penwortham, Councillor Geoff Crewe and the Mayoress Helen Crewe

A personal message from the chair of Penwortham Town Council, The Mayor; Councillor Geoff Crewe:-

“On behalf of fellow Councillors and all Officers of the Town Council, I write to wish all residents in Penwortham that they stay fit and well during the current Coronavirus national emergency and follow government/medical advice. As you may be aware, the Town Council has had no alternative but to close all their premises to which the public have access to try to reduce the risk of the virus spreading. Whilst we appreciate the Government is giving both scientific and medical advice on a daily basis and the UK has one of the finest Health Services in the world, it would sadly appear the situation is going to get a lot worse before matters improve. We are, however, a caring Council and whilst we will do all that we can  to help and aid everyone through these frightening times, if you or someone you know is experiencing problems that you feel we may be able to help with in any way, please email our Town Manager: steve@penworthamtowcouncil.gov.uk alternatively you may also email his colleagues Marie@penworthamtowncouncil.gov.uk or Samantha@penworthamtowncouncil.gov.uk who will try to assist.
God bless you all and keep safe.

Geoff
