Penwortham Town Council

The Penwortham Town Council website aims to provide a comprehensive reference point for all our residents, businesses and visitors to the area. We also offer access to Town Council information including details of your nearest councillor, agendas and public meetings. The Town Council has primary responsibility for Hill Road Cemetery, Penwortham War Memorial, Penwortham Community Centre, The Bridge Inn allotment site and the numerous community events held throughout the year in Penwortham.

The Town Council meets at 7:00pm on the first Tuesday of each month at Penwortham Community Centre, Kingsfold Drive, Penwortham PR1 9EQ

Details will be displayed on the Town Council notice boards and on the website.

Meetings of the various committees are held when required throughout the year.

All Penwortham Town Council meetings are open to the public.

 

The new Mayor of Penwortham, Councillor Jim Patten accepted the role at the meeting of Penwortham Town Council on Tuesday 2nd May 2017. 

Councillor Patten’s chosen charities for the year are The Alzheimer’s Society and “Dig In”. If you would like the mayor to attend your event please call the Mayor’s Office on 01772 750533

 

Penwortham Gala 2017

This year’s Penwortham Gala will once again take place at Hurst Grange Park on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th June 2017. If you would like to take part in the procession please email procession@penworthamtowncouncil.gov.uk

We do not charge for local businesses to take part in the Penwortham Gala procession, please come and join us, have a great day out and promote your business at the same time.

Penwortham Neighbourhood Development Plan

The Penwortham NDP was officially adopted as part of the South Ribble Borough Council Planning system on Wednesday 29th March 2017 – please click here to download the Decision Statement
